She is the girl with the most riveting show on television. Racy, raunchy, scandalous and morally upright with a heaving bosom and clothes that amplify it, Mathira is an anomaly. She is not an apa baji and she does not fit into the chul buli, wide-eyed veejay category either. No, not at all, Mathira is definitely a very naughty girl.The child of an African father and Pakistani mother, Mathira, whose name means ‘pretty woman’ in Hebrew, was born and has lived in Zimbabwe for most of her 18-year-old life (yes, she’s that young!). She describes her life there as “very different” from her life in Pakistan. “In Zimbabwe, I was a free bird with wings. I was a very carefree kid and used to do stupid stuff,” she says. A bonafide tomboy whose posse consisted only of male friends, Mathira admits that she was never very good at school and always took a keener interest in sports. “I always won trophies for hurdles and relays, but I remember the first time I won something for English, my mom was really proud of me. I hated wearing ties and skirts and was really nervous about going on stage. When I climbed up to receive the trophy, I tripped and fell: it was so embarrassing! Anyway, I got up and received it, and on my way down, I tripped again and broke the trophy. Mathira is very popular on Youtube as well and filled wit many scandals. A recent clip of hers that did rounds through emails and all over Facebook featured a called who was complimenting her on her looks, her clothes, her hair, her show and what have you.Mathira, with mathira her hair done up in a long long braid kept on accepting the compliments leading him on in a hilariously flirtatious exchange that lead to the gentleman wanting to be suckled like a baby, of course he said it in Urdu and very directly. Of course, then he had to face the (faux) wrath of Mathira who told him that he was frustrated and that he needed to get laid or get a wife to take it out on! Of course, the whole episode was probably a set up but that it made the rounds show how people, men and women alike, love to be titillated.There are numerous morning show anchors and chat show hosts in Pakistan and none of them has in recent times garnered more viewership, or is being talked about more, than Mathira. She hosts a late-night programme titled Love Indicator on Vibe TV. Slender in appearance and never short of words, the teenager (yes, she claims she is still in her teens) began to turn heads last year by virtue of her candid chattering and uninhibited sartorial sense on her show. As the title suggests, you can easily guess the kind of frankness that’s required for it. Mathira’s television career took off with a programme on which she appeared as a yoga instructor (she’s a yogi too!). A tad baffling as it is, she explains, “As a kid I lacked confidence. Once in school I nearly drowned in the swimming pool and became hydrophobic. Then I started taking yoga classes and they turned out to be the best way to overcome fear. It also keeps you healthy.”Mathira – Vj girl of Vibe filled up with vulgarity and nonsense. Media is spreading vulgarity through this woman so called 18 years of age….she should be banned on every TV channel and people should like this page as their vote to ban mathira.
